Curry writes from her hands on experience in covering the many murder trials of Kerry Cox Cook after the mutilation and death of Linda Jo Edwards in Smith County, Texas. She names names (which are listed in an Appendix}; she footnotes her documentation; she is truly an objective journalist. Curry writes about her interviews, interaction with all of the people involved and gives her personal anecdotes. Her interesting writing style is what has made her an award-winning journalist.
