One of my goals in writing A Gold Medal Man was to preserve history and attempt to place a book in school libraries at least in Central Illinois. Since I am self-publishing, I can’t afford to donate that many books. So, I have found a way — thanks to many tips from my readers — to fund that donation effort.

Many of those people who have purchased my book simply say “keep the change.” I’ve decided to use those donated funds to cover my cost of a book and donate that book to a local high school or community library! Although I depend upon the income from sales, I’m glad there is a way people can check out a book on loan and learn about Tug Wilson.

I’m calling this effort “The Round Up Program,” hoping buyers will say “round it up” to the next whole dollar amount!

Thank you for your support.
